Advertising credit is the balance you use to fund campaigns in Tanganica. Without credit, campaigns cannot run. All credit-related settings are managed in the Credit Top-Up tab, which is a separate section in the main menu.
How to top up credit
Go to the Credit Top-Up section in the main menu. Choose the amount you want to add and select your preferred payment method — bank transfer, payment card or automatic top-up. We recommend setting up automatic top-up so your campaigns never stop due to insufficient balance.
Usage overview
In the Credit Top-Up section, open the Usage Overview subtab. Here you will find three overviews:
Credit usage — a detailed overview of how credit was used in the app and where it was drawn from. Only this overview can be exported as a CSV file.
Ad spend — an overview of credit drawn for ads running in Tanganica.
Bonuses — bonus credits allocated by Tanganica.
How credit is drawn
Your credit is drawn for two things:
Ad spend — clicks and impressions through ads running in Tanganica on Google, Meta and Microsoft.
Tanganica fee — 5% of the value of orders brought through ads running in Tanganica (excluding VAT and shipping), based on last-click attribution with a 30-day window.
This means credit can be drawn even after a campaign is paused — every order completed within 30 days of a click is attributed to that campaign and the fee is deducted.
Credit can also be drawn for AI features. If you have a premium subscription and exhaust your prepaid credits, you will be asked whether you want to use advertising credit for further use of the features.
Recommended starting credit
For the first month we recommend topping up €200–€400. This gives your campaign enough data to complete the learning phase and after 30 days you will have results that can be meaningfully evaluated.
