Connecting Your Shopify Store

Connect your Shopify store directly to Tanganica

If your store runs on Shopify, you can connect it directly to Tanganica without setting up an XML product feed or manually installing a tracking code. The native Shopify integration handles both automatically.

What the Shopify integration does

  • Products sync in real time — Tanganica reads your Shopify catalogue directly. No XML feed required.

  • Tracking is set up automatically — Purchase and add-to-cart events are configured without any manual code installation.

How to connect your Shopify store

There are two places in the app where you can start the Shopify connection:

Option 1 — During onboarding: If Tanganica detects that your store has no feed or tracking code set up, it will offer the Shopify connection as the recommended option during the initial setup flow.

Option 2 — In Settings: Go to Settings. From the settings overview, navigate to the Tracking Code or Upload Products section. Click Connect Shopify Store and follow the steps to authorise the connection.

After connecting

Once the connection is authorised, Tanganica will start importing your products and your tracking will be active. You can check the connection status at any time in Settings.
